road trains - the fun way to get along the seafront

Here’s a bit of fun, especially for children.

The road trains have finished for this year.

Our roadtrains run along the seafronts at Ryde and Shanklin. They're a great way to get from one part to another. You can get on and off at any of the stops showing the roadtrain sign. They’re at regular intervals all along the routes, so you’re never far from one.

Loads to see

Our roadtrains pass popular seaside attractions along each route. In Ryde the roadtrain links the lively Esplanade to Appley Tower and Puckpool Park.
And if you prefer a more tranquil setting, then why not take the Shanklin roadtrain to Shanklin Old Village with its narrow High Street lined with thatched cottages and shops.
