BUS TIMES ARE CHANGING – Sunday 30th September 2018

Monday, September 24 2018

Live from Sunday 30th September, our winter timetable is your detailed guide to all Southern Vectis routes and fares from late September to early April 2019.

Within the timetable you can find information on the best fare for you, all information on our routes and stops, Island network maps and details of our seasonal services, including the Needles Breezer, Christmas Lights tour and Christmas day services.

As ever, we have endeavoured to keep as many regular buses running on routes as possible during the winter months, with just minor tweaks to timetabling to improve reliability and cater to demand.
Changes to look out for:

ROUTE 3:
We’ve made slight changes to times buses between 0530 and 0710, Monday to Saturday, from Newport. Buses leaving Newport at 0735 and 2140 also have new times along the route.
The timing point in Brading towards Sandown has been changed from the Bull Ring to Brading Church.

ROUTE 6:
We’re pleased to offer a Sunday service bus on Route 6 throughout the winter month’s thanks to support from Chillerton & Gatcombe, Chale, Niton and Whitwell Parish Councils.

ROUTE 7:
The 0643 Monday to Saturday from Alum Bay will run 5 minutes earlier arriving in Newport at 0735.

ROUTE 9:
Be aware of small changes to journeys Monday to Friday to improve reliability. Buses leaving Newport between 1540 and 1740 and leaving Ryde between 0720 and 0830 have updated times.

ROUTE 12:
We are pleased to announce Route 12 journeys on a Sunday will continue over the winter period.
Please check your timetable ahead of the change on Sunday 30th September and look out for our new timetable at our Travel Shops, ferry ports and other regular pick up points. Find all timetables online here, to view via the internet or to download as a PDF.

NEEDLES BREEZER:
As of 30th September, the Needles Breezer timetable will reduce to hourly until the last day of service on 28th October.

New for 2018 we will be launching a ‘Pick Up and Put Back’ recycle campaign to reduce the print numbers on our timetable, reducing the use of paper and making it more sustainable. So if you pick up our timetable and no long need it, please don’t bin it. Please put back into one of our reuse and recycle bins for the next person. There will be 15 available across the Island!
