The Island’s own alternative festival, Eklectica, returns to Robin Hill in 2018 with a star studded 00’s line up.

Taking place over 7th, 8th, 9th September 2018, Eklectica brings a well-known line up of chart and indie favourites to the Isle of Wight, including The Fratellis, Pixie Lott, Top Loader, Scouting for Girls, Noisettes, The Hoosiers, DJ Reggie Yates, Tinchy Stryder and more! See the line up in full HERE.

Robin Hill is situated on the outskirts of Newport and is on our Route 8 bus network.

See the Route 8 timetable HERE.

To account for the additional passengers journeying to Robin Hill for Eklectica, we will be running duplicate buses on the route at the busiest times to ensure commuters and party goers get to where they need to be.

Route 8 runs between Ryde and Newport via Seaview, St Helens, Bembridge, Sandown and Arreton in both directions, stopping outside of the festival gates.

From Newport Bus Station, Route 8 buses will go direct to the gates of the festival.

Passengers coming from Ryde are advised to catch the number 9 from Ryde to Newport, and change to the number 8 for Eklectica for a faster and more direct route. Or hop aboard the 8 at Ryde and enjoy the scenic route through to Newport!

For those travelling from the east side of the Island outside of Ryde, please use Route 8.

For those travelling from the west side of the Island, please use Route 7 and connect with Route 8 at Newport.

From the south side of the Island, catch Route 3 into Newport and connect with Route 8.

From Cowes, use Route 1 and change for Route 8 at Newport.

The last bus from Eklectica will leave the site at 23:51pm to Ryde and 0007 to Newport on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We operate night buses run on route 1, 3 and 9 from Newport Bus Station to Ryde, Cowes, Rookley, Godshill, Wroxall, Ventnor, Shanklin, Sandown and Brading.
